What Is The Open Water Course?

If you have already taken part in the Try Scuba Experience with us to done a Try Dive elsewhere and found that you have gotten the bug for scuba diving and wish to take it to the next level then this course is for you!

To Enroll in the PADI Open Water Course you must be 10 years of age or older. You will need adequate swimming ability and be in good physical health, NO Previous Experience Is Necessary!

What Will You learn?

The Open Water Diver Certification consists of three phases:

  • Knowledge Development – Online or Classroom Sessions to teach you the theory behind the skills and principles of diving.
  • Pool Sessions – Designed to go at your pace to practice and refine the skills you learnt in the Knowledge Development phase.
  • Open Water Dives – Take to the open sea and use your new skills to explore your new found underwater world!

What Gear Will You Use?

With this course you will have all the equipment provided to you free of charge for the duration of your course, including mask, snorkel, tank, Buoyancy Control Device, Gauges, fins and regulators. Unlike most dive resorts we do not charge for air refills for the courses so the price you see is the price you pay!

If you wish to use some of your own gear, you are more than welcome to once the instructor has inspected it for suitability.

How Much Does It Cost?

For the full course it is £375 and this includes all your books, videos, tuition, Instructors, Classroom Sessions, equipment and as many air top ups as you need to qualify!
